Sacramento Parent Magazine Photo Shoot!
REPOSTED from 2015 – Still Fresh!
Something that I am very proud and grateful for is the recent May issue of Sacramento Parent Magazine. I had the privilege of not only styling the cover, but got to write a 3 page article dedicated to what I love most: the promotion of thrift!!!
Being spring and the month of May, I focused on spring fashion trends and Mother’s Day. You’ll find me most of the time promoting adult thrifted fashion, but this article was mainly about the wonderful kids fashion found at….. Thrift Town!!!!!!!!!
I literally went bananas went I went shopping for kids clothes at Thrift Town. I mean, I always knew that great kids clothes were found at thrift stores, but I had no idea the extent of name brand pieces for such incredible low prices. I’m talking Gap dresses for $2.99 and super cute colorful rompers for $3.99. Mind you, all the pieces I got were in pristine condition.
Not a single outfit from head to toe was over $10! That just blows my mind and goes to show that being a fashionable little lady doesn’t have to cost a lot. Faith, Ruby, and little Brett were the best mini models a stylist could ask for!
I’m telling you, Thrift Town has a phenomenal selection of not only kids clothes, but accessories as well! I hope you enjoy the looks I came up with for the magazine.
