DIY Super Bowl Party Tips

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?  It’s exciting because this year we have our local San Francisco 49ers at the BIG GAME Super Bowl LIV, @3:30 on FOX.  The Kansas City Chiefs are favored to win. I’m not really a football junkie, but I tune in every year for some football, the great commercials and of course, best of all the SNACKS!

Here are a few of Kari Shipman’s ideas to prep for SUPER BOWL! P.S. It’s not Super Bowl at my house without The Barefoot Contessa’s Pan Fried Onion Dip.  You are welcome! YUM!

Kari’s SUPER BOWL Party Tips!

First step: looking festive & sporting team colors. Whoever you’re rooting for, it’s easy to pick up a tshirt or 2 from Thrift Town and make yourself (and your guests!) awesome scarves in team colors. (Can we reiterate how much we love Pinterest??)

There are SO many affordable DIY possibilities for throwing a fun Superbowl party.

— Make sporty garland with the leftover tshirt material from your thrifted scarves.

— Snack & cupcake stands from secondhand candlestick holders glued to plates & painted team colors.

— 99 cent vases filled with team colored candy

Get creative, have fun, and make it a Super Bowl party to remember!
