My daughter and I found ourselves needing cute summer outfits for an out-of-town graduation. Light, easy and easy to pack and go: Thrift Town saves the day again. As always.

This “top” for my daughter actually had snaps on the bottom making it a onesie.
And the sizing was much smaller than she is, BUT for $0.99, I bought it and
simply cut the snapped bottom piece out and she has an adorable dressy casual
top perfect for the graduation.

I found this little light weight shrug with puffy bow detail for $1.99.
Just the thing to throw on over the top for indoors at the grad.

My little miss all ready to go! Cloth headband made from a thrifted tank top.
We just used a pale pink ruffled diaper cover under the top/dress, and white sandals.

And for me: a $2.99 chambray dress – so simple and easy!
One lightweight non-fussy piece to throw on and be ready to go.

I went with brown accessories. The purse was from a recent clothing swap,
but the rope belt and GAP sweater were both under $2 at Thrift Town.
For the graduation, I wore brown wedges to dress it up just a bit,
but for everyday, this look is perfect with brown flats or sandals.

It was warm outside so no cameo for the cardigans, but we had them just in case.
I’m glad we found such versatile pieces, and am looking forward to mixing
it up for everyday.
