Thrifting is a fun experience and for me it doesn’t just stop at finding that special hidden piece at Thrift Town. Sometimes these special recycled clothing finds become deconstructed and upcycled into high quality garments that are super fashionable, unique and unexpected.

My name is Antonio Guerrero and I’m a designer and owner of LLVB aka Livin La Vida Broka- an affordable brand Up-Cycled and designed for EVERYONE. The brand’s genderless aesthetic makes the possibility for each design endless, and openly allows anyone to wear it as they please.

It’s the goal at LLVB to turn secondhand clothing into something so intricate and well-made, that when you wear one of our Up-Cycled garments you to feel special knowing that not only are you wearing a one-of-one garment entirely for you, but you’re also taking a stand for the environment and thrifting as a whole!

Classic ‘Gemini Button Up’ made from two Thrift Town button ups found in the Men’s Long Sleeve section. Paired with a vintage denim jacket found at Thrift Town that I took apart and pieced back together for a layered more street wear aesthetic. Accessorized with a thrifted belt also from Thrift Town!

LLVB’s hand-constructed designs, are evidence of the brand’s commitment to playing a part in saving the environment. Each piece is carefully constructed from garments that are thrifted (with all of these pieces coming from Thrift Town exclusively) and then deconstructed to only be elevated into something more bold and expressive. Not only does this preserve the life of the clothes, but it helps decrease landfill pollution. With the fashion business being one of the main causes of pollution to our environment, Thrifting and Up-Cycling these garments completely stops additional environmental damage!

Similar to Thrift Town, LLVB believes in a price point that is obtainable to everyone. Because we source our material from Thrift Town it allows the price point for our items to be very entry level ranging from $85-100$ for all custom items. Also touching back that we don’t believe in only a certain ‘group’ to be able to afford luxury and something special. We are all inclusive and pride ourselves on that.

LLVB aka Livin La Vida Broka, an affordable brand up-cycled and designed for the EVERYONE. LLVB believes in an all-inclusive mindset. Everyone should be allowed to express themselves through fashion while maintaining a sense of individuality. With each design being one-of-one, the brand’s signature style of reconstructed pieces, provide a sense of confidence and exclusivity. Our brand motto is ‘Live Broke’ we’re stripping that word as a negative connotation and saying- living broke is really only a mental state. You don’t need to spend a lot of money to look good!
